When Brent and I got married in 2017, we knew we needed to be on the same page about a few things.Â
We didn't want to live a life:
- with copious amounts of debt
- wondering how we were going to pay our next bill
- where we were running the rat race each day

From there, I dove into course creation, creating mentoring and support opportunities for student teachers and first-year teachers.Â

In 2021 we were able to use the money made from selling my digital resources and courses to purchase a 1948 duplex that we completely gutted down to the studs, flipped, and now rent out, bringing in another source of passive income.Â
Every day we continue to wake up and work towards our goals, and each day our goals seem to get a little bigger and better.Â
Passive income didn't happen overnight for us. It took time, determination, hours upon hours of research, grit, and the ability and willingness to get back up when the going got tough.Â
